Air duct cleaning

The duct is the air path of the building. Dust, fibres and filter residue settle on the underside and form a thick layer that restricts the airflow.

We clean ducts where we can technically reach them. That means ducts accessible through an inspection hatch, a technical room, a ceiling or a service shaft. For the rest we advise a different solution.

For round and flexible ducts we work with a cleaning hose and brush. Rectangular ducts are opened where the dimensions allow and cleaned from the inside.

  • Round spiral ducts in homes and utility buildings
  • Rectangular ducts in office and industrial buildings

Conditions, prerequisites and technical limits

  • Ducts smaller than roughly 30 cm are in practice often assessed as not cleanable.
  • Cables, pipes and wiring in the duct obstruct cleaning and are not moved.
  • Concrete or brick ducts are not opened; that requires a different approach.
